Hello World! (Or; A New Beginning 2.0)

I published my first post on this blog almost exactly 4 years ago, and summarily forgot about the whole thing some two days later. Back then, the blog was called “Pen, Paper, Poetry”, and I made exactly one post on it, titled “A New Beginning”. This venture was apparently doomed from the start, thanks to one of the first sentences I wrote in that post being “I won’t make any commitments in terms of when I plan to post updates, ’cause I already know I won’t be able to stick with it.”

Boy, do I hate being right. (Then again, this might be confirmation bias. Who knows what would’ve become of it if I’d stuck with it four years ago?)

That said, today I’m starting again. A new name, a new domain, a new post.

A New Beginning.

This will be a place for me to gush or rant and whinge about games and music, two of my favourite things. Every now and then I’ll also share some of my poetry or a story that I’ve written, and I might occasionally post opinion pieces, although I suspect those will be few and far between.

For now I’m planning to release a new post at least once every two weeks or so, but life as a Mechanical Engineering student is often unpredictable, so I ain’t makin’ no promises for the forseeable future.
